2012 Cabernet Sauvignon

Every once in a while, something special happens and the short rows on the very Eastern end of the hillside Cabernet block make us say "wow".   With power, exhuberant aromatics, and distinctive character, this single ton of grapes is excited to stand alone as Côte Bonneville Cabernet Sauvignon.  Intense, rich, and structured the wine is full of DuBrul cherry, dried figs, toasty oak, and exotic spice.  This is only the third bottling ever produced, and we even made a few magnums.
