2015 Carriage House

2015 was a hot year, leading to lots of ripe dark fruit flavors.  Dark cherry, black raspberry, and cassis are supported by exotic spice, clove, vanilla, and chocolate.  The drought that year was reminiscent of 2005 and the tannin structure is similar, with plenty of life in this vintage.  Rich texture is enhanced by bottling unfined and unfiltered.   This intense and concentrated wine shows the balance, aromatics, and finish that are the hallmarks of Côte Bonneville.  Decanting is always recommended while young, and especially in a big bold vintage like this one.
