2005 Côte Bonneville
2005 was a drought year; in response, the vines produced subtle new flavors in the fruit. The wine has deep dark blackberry, cherry, blueberry, and black tea elements, with bold yet refined tannins in abundance. Memories of the toasty crusted edge of a blackberry pie are conjured up.
