2021 Chardonnay

This luxurious Chardonnay exudes elegance and grace.  Ripe lemon, pear, and quince are complemented by floral, vanilla, and brioche flavors.  Complex and creamy, the wine has developed weight, texture, and gravitas from the extended time in French Oak.  

June of 2021 was hot, and the grapes stayed small and concentrated.  Meticulous attention to the vines during the early summer heat was needed to keep the grapes healthy and protected from the temperature.  The loving care shines through in this testament to the magic that happens when a great site is paired with skillful viticulture and superb winemaking.  Only 70 cases were bottled of this exceptional vintage!
